My Style - Three things I cannot live without this summer

1. Clothes with crochet or lace details - Top, dress or anything else does not matter. Light, airy and delicate, these clothes bring a dose of romance in the hot summer days.

2. Ripped jeans - I'm in love with these jeans. So casual and slightly rebellious ...

3. "Nude" sandals - flat, with many straps and perfect neutral color. Super convenient and easy to combine with any clothes.

Accessories - each according to taste :)

Minimal + Classic = Perfect!

Aok white tea / ginseng extract Porenverfeinernde Day Cream with Ginseng Extract

I have two little rules when I`m buying my cosmetics: Do NOT have any parabens and contain extracts of some interesting plant. It immediately drew me into this lovely cream Aok - The Aok Pur Balance Porenverfeinernde Day Cream with Ginseng & rice extract and prebiotic active complex is free of parabens and refines the skin and pores. What could be better than that!

I have a very good opinion of this product. Clean and nice packaging, fresh, unobtrusive smell of the cream. Excellent spread on the skin, absorbs very well. There is a slight Matting effect. My skin matched up greatly with this cream. Definitely a slight astringent effect on the pores and evens out the face tan. A very good base under a BB cream and I myself use it like that. The packaging says that it is better to use twice: in the morning and in the night for a greater effect, but I`m only using it as a day cream and it is also OK. Great product with a super good price!

Alverde - Anti-Aging Q10 Beauty Balm 7in1 Aroniabeere

An interesting proposal from Alverde. BB cream with Aronia. Sounds wonderful and I bought it without hesitation. A charming product! I have no idea what are the 7in1 things, but I liked it :) I must say that its coloring according to the package is light to medium, but my skin is more of a medium to dark, and it still fitted me perfectly. So I'm not sure whether it is suitable for a very light tan. Another important thing to know: it is understood from the name Anti-Aging Q10 Beauty Balm that it is for women and skins over 30 years old.

The texture is a liquid, but it is not so washy/leaky and spreads easily. It has really nice and light scent. A good moisturizing cream. Also I`m using a matting cream underneath. Currently my skin is combined and it feels good with that cream, but in the summer I think it would be too heavy for me. For the current season and for the cold weather it`s great. The effect is like a normal BB cream, there is not much coverage, but perfectly evens the tan and the skin looks younger and firmer. Perfect for using in everyday life.

Spring hair loss

The sun is shining , the birds are chirping, colorful flavors in the air, everything is green... Spring is finally here! And you think that nothing can spoil your good mood? Then you take a look at your hair brush ... and fall in a silent horror because of the amount of fallen hair left on it. Throw yourself in Google and start reading about spring hair loss. You make a plan and rush to implement it. O, yeah... is this happening to everybody?

To me, yes! Every.Single.Year! With the exception of the spring where I was pregnant and I had the most beautiful hair in the whole world... but you can not be pregnant each spring, so I came up with another strategy :)
First... VITAMINS. My opinion on the matter is that this is the most important thing. If your hair is not nourished from the inside, it hardly matters what you will use from the outside. More zinc and biotin are food for the hair, but also helps with the nails and skin.
Then shampoo and lotion or ampoules. This year I chose Crisan anti-hair loss system Active Shampoo with L-arginine and Crisan anti-hair loss system active and tonic with L-arginine.

I`ve read good reviews about the products, their price is good, and they are new to me, so I`ve decided to try them. After more than a month of use, I can say that they are not something phenomenal, but certainly acted well on my hair. Hair loss lessened and my hair looks a bit thicker than before. This system would also be good for the fast oiling hair types. Drawback for me is that the products are drying my hair endings, but the problem can be solved with a moisturizing product. Also the smell of the shampoo is not very pleasant, but it disappears quickly after drying the hair. The lotion is applied every night at the roots, with a gentle massage on the scalp. It does not get the hair very greasy and it does not leave any remnants of it. Plus for this system is that it gives a nice volume.
Whatever you choose to fight spring hair loss, I wish you success. And do not forget that good food, plenty of water and good mood are also part of the success :)

Let`s talk about... Hair - II

"If your hair is done properly and you have on good shoes, you can get away with anything."

- Iris Apfel, Harper’s Bazaar, April 2013

"Hair doesn't make the woman, but good hair definitely helps."

 Tresemme

     Hello people,
One of the first posts in my blog was "Let `s talk about ... The Hair". It has also become the most successful and read post. Probably it is quite true that the mood of a woman is related to the good looks of her hair. One year later, I think it's time for the second post on this topic. And the reason for that is - for the past year I`ve tried many new products and I have found some new favorites. As always I will remain true to the tradition and I will share a recipe for a homemade product. So, stay tuned!

My new favorites are few. I`m starting with the shampoo.
Matrix Total Results Sleek Shampoo - Matrix Total Results Sleek Shampoo cleanses as it moisturises and smooths to help repair damage and control frizz with all day humidity protection. I am really happy with all the Matrix products I used. And this time the brand has not disappointed me. Okay, this shampoo is not something surprising, but it is treating my colored hair really good. Washes good, makes my hair soft and moisturized. Also the amount is great for the price. An excellent suggestion for colored hair.
Dr Wolff Plantur 39 Caffeine Shampoo - Product Description: Plantur 39 Caffein Shampoo *For hair over the age of 40 *Activates the roots during washing *Especially for fine, brittle hair Until menopause, a woman's hair roots are protected based on high levels of female hormones (estrogen). After menopause, these hormone levels will decline and the impact of male hormones will increase. The consequence: The hair will grow thinner, fall out prematurely, and the scalp will become visible. The Caffeine in this shampoo prevents the hormone-induced exhaustion of hair production. During hair washing, the active ingredient penetrates all the way into the hair follicle (detectable after 120 seconds residence time). This shampoo intentionally contains weakly dosed hair conditioning agents to ensure that your style retains its volume.
I`ve got the travel size of this shampoo because I'm getting some heavy spring hair loss, and because I was very curious to try it. I`m charmed by the shampoo and definitely plan to buy it in a full size. Great hair washing, makes it soft and gives a nice volume. I can`t determine however whether the shampoo helped to reduce the hair loss or some other of the few products I was using.
I will continue with a mask, which is my totally favorite right now - Osmo Berber Oil Mask Restoration Therapy with Argan
- Unique combination of oils including Argan, Avocado and Olive.
- Replenishes elasticity and bounce.
- Leaves hair smooth and silky for ease of styling.
- Use individually for an indulgent experience or in collaboration with Berber Oil Shampoo for outstanding results.
- Helps strengthen and repair even the most fragile of locks.
I can write only positive things about this mask. Great smell, good density by placing it on the hair, great hydration. After putting it on, my hair is a bit more shiny and no more tangled tips.
For a finish I`m using Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence. Great product!
Anti-breakage, heat protecting conditioning spray for all hair types. Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence not only offers protection from daily environmental wear, such as UV rays and heated styling aids, but also instantly boosts your hair’s overall condition, manageability and shine.
After washing and drying I`m treating my hair with this spray. More often I leave my hair to dry itself, but the product can be used also as thermoprotector. Sometimes I use a styler and my hair really stands up very well. The spray gives the hair this extra shine and softness.
Undoubtedly the most popular product from Philip Kingsley is the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer.
Philip Kingsley Elasticizer was originally created by Philip Kingsley specifically for Audrey Hepburn, who wanted a super-moisturising treatment that would repair her hair and keep it in great condition throughout the frequent colouring and styling done to her hair on movie sets. This is a pre-shampoo intensive moisturising treatment that delivers elasticity, bounce and shine to hair. Also provides UV protection even after washing, helping prolong the life of colour treated hair. isible results from one application that improves with continued use. Fragrance free. Unfortunately the product is quite expensive. That`s why here is a good recipe for a "homemade" Elasticizer:
Castor oil +  Glycerin +  Almond oil +  Liquid Vitamin A
(the amount depends on the density and length of the hair)
Hair is smeared along well without the roots. It is better to wrap in a towel and warm with a hairdryer. Then wash the hair with a good shampoo. Done!

And because I am struggling with a slight hair loss, and my post became too long I will leave the strengthening products I`m using, for my next post. So for those who are interested to check my blog, I will try to get the info up as soon as it is ready.

Have a nice hair day!

Balea Q10 Anti-Wrinkle Serum + Omega Complex

Yeeep, sooner or later the time comes when we have to use some wrinkle creams. I think my time has come. And because I don`t have much wrinkles on my face (thanks to my oily skin) I decided to start with some serum. I imagine it`s something lighter than a cream. Just a note... my review will be writen from an absolute beginner in this kind of cosmetics.

Let`s start with the packaging. Very pleasant appearance vial with a convenient pump. The serum has very nice, at least for me, scent. Very light texture that is easy to apply and absorbs really quickly. I mainly use it as a night cream because of the heating my skin gets very dry and the serum is perfectly hydrating it. Generally I can only say good things about this serum, but its main function is the anti-wrinkle effect. I`m using it for three weeks already and I didn`t see any changes in this direction. I would say that it`s suitable for those type of skins that do not require really powerful anti-wrinkle creams intervention. Soon I`m planning to use Q10 Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream from the same series. I`m really curious how big will be the effect to my face (if there is any) and also the idea of Omega based cream is really tempting.
