Let`s talk about... Hair

"Have a bad hair day "
1. (humorous) to not feel attractive or happy all day because you cannot make your hair look nice I'm having a bad hair day today - I just couldn't do a thing with it this morning.

Do you have those days? I have them... and really often I can say. Those days when my hair is such a... BIG NOTHING. It is neither straight and well looking or neither arranged in beautiful curls. It`s just staying there... looking awful! Overall in my "beauty" cabinet the cosmetics which prevail in numbers are for "hair only". I love to take care of my hair, but it does not love me back!

In this post I would like to show you my most commonly used hair care products. I`m not saying they are the best, just that those fit ME the best. I have used a lot of hair cosmetics and I`ll continue experimenting. I`m also always opened for all the new products which I can smear on my hair :)

The mask which my hair loves and the only one which I can say makes the WOW effect is not some expensive proffessional mask, but an ordinary (homemade) hair mask. I`m mixing a little Almond oil with Jojoba oil and Glycerin. The proportions depend on the hair length.

I thoroughly put the oils mix on my hair without touching the roots. Then put a plastic cap and a towel on the top and sit for a good hour or two waiting for the magic. Afterwards wash it good with a shampoo  and do it at least 2 times so the oils are washed well and the hair doesn`t get too greasy or glued. And VOILA ... alive, thick and shiny hair! But do NOT overdo it and put too much oils! Find the middle grounds because the other effects could be too frizzy or electrified hair.

Over the years, I`ve used a lot of hair masks, but only two are my only favorites: Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair and John Frieda Frizz Ease Miracle Cure - Intense Mask. The first one is perhaps a little bit more powerfull than the other - for extra emergencies and damaged hair. It is more densed and textured. But I love them... and I love them BOTH!
Another favorite of mine is Macadamia No tangle Pre styler  which I`m using after every hair wash. I can`t say that this spray is helping me with the hair combing, but it makes it very lively and shiny. One more plus is the great scent!
My other very favorite product is CHI Silk Infusion. That one is a mandatory when I`m using a hair dryer or a straightener. It protects the hair during the thermal treatment and it makes it very soft. Unfortunately I`m not using it too often because I`m trying not to overuse these appliances (they are not very good for your hair when used too often).
In the role of a thermalprotector, I`m using Force Vector - L`Oreal Professionnel. I can`t say it is my favorite, because this is the first thing I`m using for a thermalprotection. It has very economical usage (I`m also not using it very often except when hair drying/straightening), a pleasant aroma and definately my hair is not having the after effects of the dyring/straightening! I think that it works well. A minus for me is that it makes my hair a little bit stiffy... I guess it has a little fixation.

I will not write anything about shampoos because I`m changing them too often. I love testing shampoos :)

Last item for which I will write and which is among my favorites is ApHogee Keratin Reconstructor. I`m using it 1-2 times per month now, but there was a time in which I`ve used it every week. I`ve had a period when my hair was too damaged  - after the pregnancy, giving a birth and prolonged breastfeeding... I think that was the product + the oils mask I mentioned above, which helped my hair LIVE!

I can write a lot more stuff about my hair, but I`ll leave some material for the next time :)

Have a nice hair day!
